We must receive a complete Sales Application Packet and a readable copy of your sales contract signed by all parties (buyer and seller) or it will be returned without approval given. A person is not a legal Resident of BICAYNE COVE CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION, INC. until this procedure is complete and approval is given.

The application fee in the amount of $100.00 per adult must be paid in CASH (no checks accepted). The $100.00 application is payment for a domestic background investigation, which will be done by an approved company engaged by the association, who will process your application as soon as possible. Third and fourth adults that would need to be screened will require an additional $50.00 per adult.

  • $200.00 FEE FOR ESTOPPELS LETTERS
  • $100.00 FEE FOR CONSENT OF TRANSFER LETTER
  • $100.00 FEE FOR CONDOMINIUM QUESTIONNAIRE

The screening procedure may take up to 30 days. There are no exceptions. If two (2) or more related persons are applying, we require separate application packets for each.

If an application is incomplete the process will stop until the application is forwarded to Management completed.

A Screening appointment is made after all background checks have been obtained.

  1. The Screening must take place at least two (2) weeks "prior to closing".
  2. EVERY ADULT AND EVERYONE 14 YEARS OLD AND OVER THAT WILL BE LIVING IN THE UNIT "MUST" ATTEND THE SCREENING INTERVIEW.

After the screening you're Mortgage or Real Estate Broker can request a Consent Letter from the Management office.

If you have a definitive closing date, we encourage you to schedule with the Management office a Move-In date. All moves require 5 days advance reservation based on availability. Ask about our Move In/Out/Deliveries rules and procedures.

When the closing takes place, a copy of the "Settlement Agreement" must be given to the Accounting Department. Also a copy of the Warranty Deed must be provided, as soon as it's issued to the new owners.

It is the unit owner's responsibility to release the following items:

  1. Unit Keys
  2. Mailbox Key
  3. Utility Closet Key
  4. Storage Key
  5. Access Card / FOB
  6. Remote Opener / Gate Opener
  7. Any Other Unit Specific Items

Under no circumstances may applicants be given access cards, unit keys, or be authorized to move in, before the approval of the Board of Directors.

When the old residents move out, the Management office will deactivate all Key Fobs (Electronic device) issued to that unit. The new owners are required to come to the Management office with the Key Fobs provided to them to activate with the correct information.
