Board of Directors
Message from the President
It has been a pleasure working with all of you for the past 18 years as Vice President and Secretary for the Board. Now I look forward to serving as your President. I have been an owner in the Clipper Building for the past 22 years.
As we look ahead into 2018, I want us all to work together for the betterment of Biscayne Cove. Everyone has something positive to bring to the table and I look forward to tapping into that. I want Biscayne Cove to be a community where everyone is happy and proud to live in. Every Condominium has projects, assessments, delays, issues, and problems, but it is how we deal with them that makes the difference. If we try to all be positive and make the place we call our home a wonderful place to live, then everyone will be happier. We all have to work together for the same common goal, which is a well maintained, safe complex for all of the residents to enjoy. We are a community and it takes a group effort to live in harmony. I speak for all of the Board when I say that the Board is eager and enthusiastic to govern for the common goal of the community. It is one of my main goals this year to try and save money wherever possible. Victor is currently working on a list of ways to do that. One thing I already implemented is that instead of the Newsletter, we are going to do a one page Manager's Report.
It is one of my main goals this year to try and save money wherever possible. Victor is currently working on a list of ways to do that. One thing I already implemented is that instead of the Newsletter, we are going to do a one page Manager's Report. Another way of curbing expenses goes hand in hand with my view on protocol. I want to establish the type of protocol that if you have an issue, a concern, a problem, please go to the Office first If Victor cannot solve your problem, then yes I will get involved and try to help you. I appreciate that many of you email me, but just so you know, I defer those emails to Victor. He is the manager, and he must try to solve your problem first. I ask you to please NOT email our attorney directly because that costs the Association money.
Jose is in charge of Security. If you witness a violation occurring, please report it to him with the time and date. He will look in the cameras and follow up. Jose is also in charge of housekeeping.
Yani is in charge of valet, If you see a parking infraction, please refer it to Yani.
I have added some people to the different committees and you will begin seeing the Committee Chairs giving updates at the Board Meeting.
I urge all Unit Owners to attend Board Meetings and stay informed. I want to wish you all a Happy and a Healthy New Year, Let's work together for a successful 2018.
